The hike was not a walk in the park. Thankfully we had amazing clear skies and moderate temperature. It started out climbing over boulders and up a steep incline. It wasn’t pleasant physically but it also ended up being one of the easier sections. About 1/3 up it plateaued a bit and we were met by a beautiful lake.
For the rest of the time we were walking over rocks and steep sections of mountain, exposed to the views and also the sun. Taking lots of rest to take some photos or a sip of water, we made it to the peak after about 1.5 hours.
And it was well worth it, a birds eye view of the islands and the road that connects Henningsvær.
